Our Story

Green Body Brand (GBB) began as an idea stemming out of Plantarion. Andy Nevers, the founder of Plantarion and GBB is a strong advocate for the plant-based movement. After going vegan a few years ago, Andy has set out on a mission to help make the world a healthier place. The creation of our clothing brand is a major step forward in helping Andy realize this dream. To this end, GBB is focused on helping with the elimination of animal cruelty, reduction of carbon emission, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, through our unique apparel designs, we aim to educate and inspire those around us to live and work for a more sustainable tomorrow.


Green Body Brand was woven from the belief that sustainable fashion should be for everyone. Our diverse, majority woman-led team aims to create beautifully designed clothing that is not only top to bottom eco-friendly, but accessible to all.


We want our products to reflect the essence of what we’re about. Green Body Brand was built out of Plantarion, a company that connects plant-based service providers to plant-based consumers. Being connected to the plant-based community is very important to us and this is reflected in our brand. Most of our t-shirt designs are plant-based or vegan artwork and phrases, and our apparel comes from plant-based sources.


Our team designs all the graphics used on our products. We want everything to be unique, inspired, and made from the heart. Our designs focus on vegan, plant-based, and sustainable concepts and consist of phrases, digital illustration, hand drawn typography and more.


We want to make the world around us more sustainable and eco-friendly, and we want to inspire others to do the same. We’re happy to partner with organizations that make positive change. This could range from non-profit organizations that fight against animal cruelty and testing, to those that clean our planet’s ecosystems, to those that research new and innovative ways to consume less waste or recycle more.


We really care about making our entire process sustainable. We only partner and work with brands who value sustainability and have sustainable products. We also are always looking at ways we ourselves can be more sustainable and help the environment. Some amazing feats of our partners include using 7x less water than the average clothing manufacturer; reduced C02 emissions by using solar energy to power production, and using skylights to reduce the need for light bulbs; charitably giving back to organizations that help our planet; and being almost zero waste.


We make each shirt to order to conserve resources and prevent waste. The last thing we want is to have extra shirts in storage that either sit there wasted or go in a landfill. We work with brands who help us make this process easier.
